Utena's mother is very concerned for her daughter and uses her obsession with magical girls as both a carrot and a stick by restricting access to or getting rid of magical girl paraphernalia should Utena fail to achieve desired objectives such as maintaining her grades.
Utena cares for her opinion greatly as Venalita has successfully threatened Utena by promising to expose her secret identity as Magia Baiser to her mother.

Matama's Mother
Matama's mother seems very concerned about her daughter's desire to be an idol, and is unwilling to honestly state that her singing skills are terrible. As such, she chooses to remain silent instead much like her daughter's friends she went to karaoke with earlier.

Haruka's three younger sisters. They are triplets. Their names and Haruka's seem to refer to the 4 seasons: Haruka - Spring (ę„, Haru); Natsuna - Summer (å¤, Natsu); Akiho - Fall/Autumn (ē§, Aki); Mifuyu - Winter (å¬, Fuyu).

She is usually away at work, to the point she could be considered to be neglecting Korisu, with an example being that she sometimes leaves her alone at home with money to buy dinner. Despite this, she deeply loves her daughter, and they share a close bond with each other. She also trusts Utena and her friends to look after Korisu.
