Hanabishi Haruka (
Appearance[]
She has pink hair in drills and wears a pink version of the Tres Magia magical outfit.
After being corrupted by Baiser, Magenta's hair turns black near the ends. Her nails turn black as well, and her uniform turns into a tattered evening gown that nearly exposes her lower parts. Unlike with her Tres Magia uniform, she does not seem to be wearing undergarments.
In her La Verità state, Magenta wears a fetishized nurse outfit and wields a giant syringe. Her pupils become heart-shaped, and her drill curls change sizes. Magenta's right drill becomes massive and becomes similar to its appearance during her corruption by Baiser's hands. The left drill curl, however, becomes smaller and only goes down to her shoulder. In addition, Magenta gains a black avian wing growing from the left side of her back. Similar to when she was corrupted by Baiser, she does not seem to be wearing undergarments.
In addition, when being serious, she can be very attractive, though she seems to not be aware of it.
Personality[]
Haruka is an extremely energetic, compulsive, and childish girl, always smiling and acting on her feelings. She cares a lot about Sayo and Kaoruko, admiring their strength and skill as magical girls. Overall, compared to her comrades, she is the most 'normal' magical girl in the series.
However, she is extremely naïve and gullible. She wore three pasties (in the anime, the pastie on her groin is replaced by a C-string), and believed it to be the ultimate defense to Magia Baiser's stripping scissors attack, only to realize how embarrassing it was after bystanders started taking photos. She also fell for blatantly obvious traps at least twice, not realizing they were traps until after said traps were set off. There are two notable traps: the first is Nero Alice's torn cat doll intentionally getting Tres Magia's attention then running into an alley and leading them into Nero Alice's dollhouse; the second is a room in Magia Baiser's dungeon with a lavish chair and virgin cocktail under a sign inviting her to rest.
Moreover, Haruka seems to lack intelligence and common sense as well. When in the park, she played in the sandbox and built an extremely tall enoki mushroom, oblivious to how the children were annoyed by her behavior. During her "battle" with Nero Alice, she noticed that the Enormeeta member had the exact same behavior and made the same expressions as Korisu, but failed to make a connection between the two even though the situation met at least one condition that allowed the bypassing of recognition inhibition.
Despite all this, Haruka is an extremely kind-hearted girl who cares about her friends and will go through any trial to protect them. When reflecting on being controlled by Baiser, she felt shame and regret over attacking Sulfur and Azul.
In her La Verità state, Magenta seems to become the "sexy nurse" stereotype, and foregoes Haruka's reserved beliefs that erotic activities should only be done between two people who love each other.
She is currently obsessed with playing whack-a-mole.
Abilities[]
Trans-Magia (
Recognition Inhibition (認識阻害, Ninshiki Sogai?) is an ability that prevents people from recognizing a transformed magic user.
Prehensile hair - While corrupted by Baiser and turned into her puppet, Magenta's hair became prehensile, allowing her to use it like extra limbs. The ends in particular can act as hands, allowing her to grasp things without having to wrap her hair around them.
Healing - Her healing magic has recently become the strongest of the three. When she uses it the recipient feels remarkably good, with the healing even being described as orgasmic.
Dark La Verità - Haruka's transformation was affected by the time she became Magia Baiser's thrall when the latter went berserk, but she retains her morality (mostly) and desire to fight against the forces of evil. She becomes an incredibly potent healer via licentious acts such as breast groping, breastfeeding, and using her syringe to give people magical enemas. Her healing also becomes potent enough to restore other magical girls' magic. Haruka also retains the hair manipulation she had as Baiser's thrall, though it is restricted to her right drill.

- Despite being named "Magenta", her costume's colour scheme is closer to red or pink than magenta.

- She has three younger sisters who are triplets named Mifuyu, Akiho and Natsuna.
- Altogether, they are named after the four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter).
- Haruka's favorite food is nametake, which is enoki mushrooms cooked in a soy sauce-based sauce.
- Her love for it borderlines on obsession, and a 4koma omake shows her having at least seven jars of nametake for lunch and making milk tea from nametake.
- Ironically, Haruka's disliked food is kinako, which is also a soy-based food product.
- In the manga, the children are irritated by Haruka's antics in the playground sandbox. However, in the anime they are entertained by her actions.
- Unlike her fellow Tres Magia members, Haruka is unaffected by ASMR. Vol 12 Ch 57.
- Like her partners, she is very ticklish. Her armpits seem to be especially sensitive.
